Corona Virus in Italy



The COVID-19 pandemic has caused Ruggles all over the world with Italy being the main affected country. The European big game giants have witnessed over 6000 deaths in wake of one month. Italian elite football league, Serie is one of the major affected sporting activity country wide with over 20 football players affected by the dangerous disease.
Juventus center Half, Daniele Rugani was the first victim to test Positive for the disease. Rugani’s teammates, Paulo Dybala and Blaise Matuindi have also been diagnosed with the disease. Former Southampton center Forward, Manolo Gabbiadini also tested positive two weeks later.
On 19th of march 2020, AC Milan legend and sporting Director, Paolo Maldini tested positive for the Corona Virus. Alongside him, his son Daniel Maldini tested positive too forcing the pair to a self-Isolation for 14 days as per medical Protocols.
Italian Prime Minister, Giuseppe Conte requested the whole world to remember his nation during this difficult time. With no signs of an earlier return to action, European Football Association has called for the postponement of EURO 2020 tournament which was also set to take place in Italy.
